As a small business owner, today’s Time Well Spent cartoon from our friends at Kronos really hit home.
No matter how smart and talented we are, we can’t do everything ourselves. There are times when we need a small army to help us get things done. It’s important to tap into the expertise of others when necessary without abusing their kindness and generosity.
There are also times when we must realize there’s a small army of people behind the scenes that quietly help us succeed. We don’t ask for their help; they just do it. Remembering to thank them and not take their work for granted is essential.
Maybe we should all keep a handful of toy army figures on our desk as a reminder of the small army that supports us every day. Cheers!
