Every day as a consumer, we trust the companies we do business with. We give them our names, addresses, email, and credit card information. Some organizations, we give our social security number and possibly sensitive medical information.
It’s not unreasonable to expect that these companies will handle confidential data in a responsible way.
And it’s not unreasonable for companies to expect employees to know a few things about handling confidential data.
