My favorite book on employee behavior was recommended to me by Phil Healy, host of the radio show “The Profit Express”. It’s called “Why Employees Don’t Do What They’re Supposed to and What to Do About It,” by Ferndinand Fournies. I use it with my clients who find it easy to read and right on!

Thanks for sharing Barbara. I’m going to have to check it out.
A colleague of mine on Google+ recommended “The Social Animal” by David Brooks. Thanks so much!

I’ve found that employee behavior has a huge impact on success and productiveness in the workplace. In fact, some companies make a business of examining how employee behavior impacts both performance and retention rates. One of these companies publishes case studies and whitepapers on this exact topic: http://www.peopleanswers.com.
