For most of the country, it’s back-to-school time. That time when office politics, project deadlines and general workplace headaches take a back seat to teacher meetings, bus schedules, homework deadlines and general school related headaches. Of course, these aren’t a replacement for . . . they’re in addition to . . .
So, I took a cue from the Suburban Kamikaze (In the suburbs, everyone can hear you scream . . . ) after I read her post on Back-to-School Cocktails. She asked her readers for some creative recipes to help get through the challenges of this frenetic week. And they really came through with such concoctions as The Tardy Slip, The Bad Report Card, and The Teacher’s Pet.
You can check out the full list here. But, my favorite was the Three-Hole Punch which was submitted by the District 3.14159 Supply and Error Subcommittee. Not sure if the committee is genuine, but the cocktail looks like the real deal . . . and a surefire way to forget those Back-to-School headaches.
Three-Hole Punch
1 and 1/3 can of frozen cranberry-raspberry concentrate
2 cans of water
1 can of premium, triple-distilled #21 vodka (Red label only)
Mix all ingredients and add ice.
Wait for the week’s chaos to end and enjoy responsibly. Cheers!

Oooh – raspberries and cranberries – two of may favorites! I can’t wait to try it.
(You/the blog suggested I “May Also Like” Blueberries and Mashable…and you’re right – I did like it!)
