Quick Shots for #HR and #Business Pros – January 2014
Today is the start of Chinese New Year – also known as the Lunar New Year or Spring Festival. It’s related to the Chinese zodiac and 2014 is the Year of the Horse.
For 2014, I wanted to do something new here on HR Bartender so I’m taking a little creative inspiration from a few blogs that I read and starting a monthly curated post. This will feature a handful of quick links that I’ve discovered over the month and want to share. Hopefully, these are things you may not have discovered yet and will find useful and enjoyable.
Frankly, I’ve been thinking about doing this type of post for a while. What’s been holding me back? Well, coming up with a name for it. I was pondering names during my recent trip to ASTD’s TechKnowledge Conference (#ASTDTK2014) and came up with “Quick Shots” or “Coffee Break” because I want it to be a short read with some tasty information. Maybe I spent way too much time at Starbucks this trip. Ha!
