This Saturday, March 8 is International Women’s Day.

Kronos, Women's Day, International Women's Day, Inspiring Change, #WomensDay

The day is rich in history. I didn’t realize it but it’s been around for over 100 years. Originally called International Working Women’s Day, it focuses on respect and appreciation toward women to celebrate women’s economic, political, and social achievements. The United Nations encourages its members to recognize March 8 as a day for women’s rights and world peace.

The theme for this year is “Inspiring Change”. A topic we can all embrace. Change is everywhere.

Our friends at Kronos are active supporters of International Women’s Day. They’ve created this video to honor women’s achievements. Enjoy the factoids and stats!
