We’ve all probably heard the saying, “A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.” I’ve always interpreted the saying as “just because you don’t have your act together doesn’t mean I need to drop everything to help you.” But truth be told, we often do get sucked into other people’s failure to plan. Most of the time it’s because we like the person or it’s just too painful to watch the train wreck that’s been created.
Today’s Time Well Spent from our friends at Kronos made me smile. Technology is bringing a whole new definition to planning.
While technology tools allow us more freedom and flexibility, they do not absolve us from responsibility. We still have to hold ourselves accountable for getting stuff done.
