Those Back to School Adjustments – Friday Distraction
School has started again. And that means developing new routines.
On Twitter this week, one of my labor attorney friends talked about the stress associated with getting into the “school routine”. Companies have to hold employees accountable while at the same time give people the slack to adjust.
I couldn’t help but smile when I saw this week’s Time Well Spent from Kronos. Wouldn’t we all like this kind of flexibility?
When our employees are faced with developing a new way of doing business, one way we can help them is by allowing flexibility in the way work gets done. That doesn’t mean the quality or timing changes. It just means we recognize and care about our employees.
