Looking In New Places for Answers – Friday Distraction
Ever lose something? I don’t lose things very often but when I do I’m amazed where they turn up.
Some days I feel that way about data. When I’m looking for an answer I find the most amazing information where I’d least expect it. I’m reminded to keep an open mind. Our friends at Kronos jokingly compare it to looking between the seat cushions.
If we really want to find our car keys, just glancing around the room won’t help.
In order to gain valuable insight from our data, we have to look places we’ve never looked before and ask questions we’ve never thought to ask.
