Assessing Disaster Preparedness [infographic] – Friday Distraction
A couple weeks ago Mr. Bartender and I were in full hurricane readiness mode with Tropical Storm Isaac. It ended up being a non-issue for us, thankfully. Other areas of the country weren’t so lucky and they are faced with flooding, building damage and extended periods with no electricity.
No matter where you live, you’re faced with some sort of natural disaster. It’s important to be prepared.
I was amazed at this infographic by Mercer indicating at 38% of respondents admitting to having no disaster plan. And, of those with disaster plans 20% don’t follow them. Disaster plans are created for a reason. To help individuals and companies when necessary.
