I hope everyone had a wonderful Cinco de Mayo yesterday.

This weekend is pretty fun-filled as well.  Tomorrow is the 137th running of the Kentucky Derby.  After living so close to Churchill Downs, Derby Day is almost a holiday in our house.  I’m cheering for a horse named Stay Thirsty – obviously the most interesting horse in the race. Ha!

And Sunday is Mother’s Day.  The holiday is celebrated by many countries around the world, although on different days.  Several friends of mine are supporting an initiative called “To Mama With Love“.  It’s an online art project honoring women around the world.  There’s some amazing stuff happening on this site, check it out when you have a moment.

Whatever you choose to do this weekend, I hope it’s full of fun, family and friends.  Stay thirsty my friends.  Cheers!
