Nice Surprise
Earlier this week, I received a note from Evan Carmichael. The note said that HR Bartender was named one of the “Top 50 HR Blogs to Watch in 2009“. How cool is that?!
HR Bartender is there with a lot of very talented bloggers…you can see the entire list here.
Many of my personal faves are on this list like HR Thoughts, Punk Rock Human Resources and Fortify Your Oasis. But I also saw some new names that I haven’t seen before…so take a minute to visit Evan’s website and check the list out. I know I’ll be adding some new blogs to my Google Reader.
If you’re not familiar with EvanCarmichael.com, it’s the Internet’s #1 resource for small business motivation and strategy. The site has over 385,000 visitors each month, 3, 750 contributing authors, and 60,000 pages of content. (That means there’s a lot of good reading there.) One of their focuses is to provide profiles of famous entrepreneurs and how they got started. As a business owner, I’ve always found reading the stories of other successful entrepreneurs to be very inspirational.
