I haven’t played a game of tag in awhile so when I was tagged by Asha Treacy (@asha2) … I was honored. While I know some folks view blog tag as a pain, I think it’s kinda cool. I enjoy reading about the people who are tagged and take it as a compliment to be included. As Asha mentions in her post, “it’s networking at its best.”

For those of you who aren’t familiar with tag, here are the rules. You write 25 things about yourself then tag 25 peeps that you would like to know more about. For those of you who don’t blog, you can post a note on Facebook. It’s easy – just click on your profile and go to notes under tabs, paste these instructions in the body of the note, type your 25 random things, tag 25 people (in the right hand corner of the app) then click publish. Don’t forget to cross-post on your blog, Twitter or somewhere similar that your friends can find.

Coming up with 25 new things was quite the challenge…but here goes:

My favorite flavor and scent is vanilla.

I started out in college as an accounting major. Did great in financial accounting but hated cost accounting. Ended up as a political science major with a minor in business. It’s served me well.
Before starting my consulting firm, I interviewed consultants for advice. It’s great preparation for going out on your own.

I’ve worn braces three times.
I’m über organized. My secret is to have 2 pendaflex folders – one with the months of the year and the other numbered 1-31. What I’m working on for the month goes in the 1-31 sections. File rest by months. It keeps distractions off my desk.
