The Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been in law for ten days now. Regardless of what you think of the ACA, it’s still the law and we have to comply with it. But that doesn’t mean it should become bigger than the daily operation.
Today’s Time Well Spent cartoon from our friends at Kronos reminds me how important it is to stay on top of compliance matters – human resources or otherwise – so we don’t lose sight of running the business.
Administration and compliance will always exist and we have to find ways to build them into our operation. Not create a separate building for them.
