(Editor’s Note: Today’s post is brought to you by our friends at Kronos, the global leader in cloud-based workforce management solutions. Kronos’ new Workforce Tablet app helps managers stay productive with their scheduling and staffing responsibilities. It’s a cool app – check it out. Enjoy the post!)

I recently had the chance to sit down with Joyce Maroney from the Workforce Institute and William Tincup, co-host of Drive Thru HR, to talk about mobile technology. Our chat was recorded and you can check it out here.

When I think back to why I initially purchased an iPad, many of the reasons were personal – read books, watch movies, or check Facebook. Now I find myself using my iPad for other things – writing blog posts, checking website analytics, and editing photographs.

As business pros, we’re going to have to figure out how to balance the fun our mobile devices can bring with the work that needs to be done.

How are you balancing your personal and professional life when it comes to technology? Share your thoughts in the comments.
