Confession: It always takes me a second to remember what functions are left brain and which ones are right brain. Some people can immediately share it. Me? I have to remember left = logical.
I found today’s infographic to be very helpful in explaining the differences between right brain and left brain activity. Especially when it comes to learning styles. We don’t all learn the same way and this can offer both trainers as well as participants a way to understand their best learning environments. That’s a critical part of total learning experience.
So, are you a right brainer or a left brainer?

Hi! I'm Sharlyn Lauby, an HR pro turned consultant. I created the HR Bartender blog so people would have a friendly place to discuss workplace issues. And since, over the years, I've developed an appreciation for the culinary arts (translation: I'm a Foodie) you'll see some of that here too. So, pull up a stool and order your favorite drink . . . the bar is always open.

I’m not a big believer in left bran right brain thinking. The brain has a lot a plasticity and can be trained and retrained in many ways.
