Last week, I got to do something very cool that I wanted to share. I was in a segment on HuffPost Live. It’s an Internet-based live-streaming network run by the Huffington Post. They produce live, original programs built around “segments spotlighting the biggest, hottest, most engaging stories HuffPost is covering.”
The segment I participated in was a conversation about office romances. Also a part of the conversation was an organizational psychologist and a couple who live and work together. It was a great discussion from many different POVs. You can check out the segment here.
The experience was also neat from a technology standpoint. We used a Google+ hangout to connect with the HuffPost studio. I had never had a reason to use the G+ hangout feature before. It was easy to use and I can see a lot of potential for business.
Out of curiosity, have you ever participated in a G+ hangout? If you have, share your thoughts on G+ in the comments.

Love the Hangout. I’m thinking of taking my show there but the pics are somewhat fuzzy and the sound with space mics.
I thought your sound in the hookup episode had an echo type sound.

Thanks for the comment. And feedback. I wonder if that sound was from my headphones?
Maybe I should get the new iPhone5 with the spiffy new headphones to make sure it doesn’t happen again. 😉

Maybe the fact that you were calling in on a wireless connection had something to do with it.
I thought it was the mic. Don’t jump to buy anything on my say so but although I could hear you the sound was not clear and pleasant like the sound from the people in the studio.
Maybe that’s unavoidable. I need to check it out more.
