Today is International Women’s Day. It’s been observed since the early 1900’s to inspire women and celebrate their achievements. Here in the U.S. it’s a part of Women’s History Month.
In doing research for this post, I learned a few interesting tidbits (Courtesy of MasterDegree.net).
- The 2 highest IQs ever recorded belong to women.
- Over 60% of college degrees in the U.S. are earned by women.
- A woman, Susan Kare, developed most of the interface for the Apple Macintosh computer.
