		<description>[...] When faced with adversity, it’s very difficult for some people to speak up.  Human nature is for us to operate in a “herd mentality.”  We go along with the group, even if we’re troubled with the decision, because we don’t want to be singled out as a naysayer or not a team player.  It’s that silence which starts the slippery slope of unethical decision making.  Because once we agree with the first unethical decision…then the next one is easier…the following one is even easier than that…and so forth.  Before you know it, a person who was initially troubled by the situation has become part of the problem.  It simply develops into tacit approval.
