This is information that needs to be shouted from the trees not only for larger companies, but smaller ones too - I&#039;m amazed at how poor communications can be in this day when technology has made it so much easier. Certainly nothing beats face to face, but even a brief email touching base and keeping the team up to date can be most effective.

		<description>Sharyln, great read. It&#039;s nice to see some data validating what in our profession is often just taken for granted to be true. 

Regarding &quot;Pay&quot; ranking #4, I&#039;ve actually read some studies indicating that people rate pay as less important to them than it actually is on these kinds of surveys, because they don&#039;t want to seem like money obsessed jerks.
