		<description>Really great points.  We typically think of references when we&#039;re in job hunt mode, but it really makes a lot of sense to stay in touch with key people in your network for all the reasons you mentioned!

		<description>Great post Bartender!  I am been lucky enough to have been asked to be a reference for quite a few students lately, and I take the responsibility very seriously.  It is important for anyone to make sure every part of their presentation (resume, cover letter, interview dress, etc.) is well planned and that goes for references as well.</description>
