Drum roll please! Fistful of Talent and HR Capitalist have published their 4th Talent Management Blog Power Rankings. HR Bartender has graced the list twice (you can check out prior honors here and here). And, we’re surprised/thrilled to be on the list again. It’s pretty cool to be recognized along with such terrific bloggers.
There are 25 blogs in total, so be sure to check out the entire list. But here’s a peek at the Top 10:
- cheezhead
- Your HR Guy
- HR Bartender
- Compensation Force
- Seth Godin
- Punk Rock HR
- Renegade HR
- TalentedApps
- The Recruiter Guy
- All Things Workplace
Fistful of Talent also included the ‘up and comers’ in the blogging world … I found a few new faces that I’ll be adding to my reading list.
Speaking of reading lists, Effortless HR published the latest Carnival of HR yesterday. Very timely collection of human resources topics including employee engagement, leadership development and social media. Be sure to visit for some lively discussion.
As HR Pros, we are constantly reminding our management teams of the importance of recognition. My thanks and congrats to all of the blog power ranking and carnival participants. You are making a difference. Cheers!

Hi! I'm Sharlyn Lauby, an HR pro turned consultant. I created the HR Bartender blog so people would have a friendly place to discuss workplace issues. And since, over the years, I've developed an appreciation for the culinary arts (translation: I'm a Foodie) you'll see some of that here too. So, pull up a stool and order your favorite drink . . . the bar is always open.

sharlyn,
you see things through such a positive lens. you bring up reminding management about the importance of recognition and use that as an analogy for the top 25… and first thing that comes to mind for me is evaluations and forced rankings. lol. i wasn’t thinking about it as recognition! ha. i should put your glasses on for a change…
