Hi Sharlyn,

This sounds great. Unfortunately, I had to stay home alone this year, but I did cook a great turkey! I forgot about the Beaujolais Nouveau this year though...I'm not sure how!

By the way...you've been tagged, stop by my blog to see what I mean:

We celebrate the day almost the very same way! But my husband is the cook and he brined the turkey. It was incredible! We had a bottle of Beaujolais but opted for a very nice Pinot Noir from Sonoma instead. As I type, my husband is making turkey soup stock from the carcass. Nothing goes to waste. And for leftovers, we had a curry/coconut sauce that we mixed with our leftover turkey. Served on couscous and it was a delightful day-after meal!

And with the Lions going for 0-16, how can we NOT watch?

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving, Sharlynn...very similar to ours. If you like the pumpkin oatmeal you might also like pumpkin hamburgers, pumpkin chili, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pancakes, etc, etc. If you come to central Ohio the third week of October for the Circleville Pumpkin Festival (http://www.pumpkinshow.com) you will find these and other pumpkin treats. Great fun and all things pumpkin!

May your home be filled with the blessings of love and plenty. To your health!
