		<description>I think that&#039;s one for the economists.  Your point is a valid one.  I question how many employers truly realize this dynamic.  But mostly, my thought was to stress the retention of good employees which will result in better customer service.  That should be a strong win-win-win for customer, employee, and business owner!</description>

		<description>I get that poverty is about being able to afford food, not about how fancy your car is or isn&#039;t.  

What I don&#039;t get is what business owners can/should do about it.  Well intentioned business owners, who want to pay entry-level and low-skill employees more money, compete with less-scrupulous business owners who don&#039;t give a dam* about their employees.

Is the business-owner really the one with their head in the sand?  Or should the finger of blame and culpability be pointed rather at politicians who oppose minimum wage increases and living wage accountability?</description>
